Joseph M. Perks, D.O.

Dr. Perks is a Family Practice/Pediatric physician. He served as Medical Director of the Community Health Center in Greenville for 11 ½ years before joining PCA in November 2007. A native of Oklahoma, he completed his pre-med degree at the University of Tulsa and is a graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa.

Before taking the position with Community Health Center, he practiced medicine in both Poteau and Enid, Oklahoma, in Fort Worth, and worked in the ER at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce.

Dr. Perks and his wife Carole have 2 grown daughters. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and woodworking.

"I owe my medical career to my wife," he says. Although he was always interested in science and medicine, "Carole encouraged me to pursue medicine as a career."
