Leah Madsen, M.D.

Dr. Madsen is a Family Practice physician with emphasis on preventative health. She joined PCA in 2000. A New Mexico native (she grew up on a cattle ranch), she attended Texas Tech University and completed medical school at the University of New Mexico. She served her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler.

She is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, American Academy of Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.

When she isn’t caring for her patients, husband, 4 children and a dog, Dr. Madsen enjoys skiing – both snow and water – gardening and cooking.

She likes to work with people, teaching them preventative health care and extending their quality of life. “If their lives are as chaotic as mine,” she says, “patients will appreciate our Night Clinic and extended hours.”
