Dr. Anderson is a Family Practice physician who joined PCA in February
2006. A native of Corpus Christi, she has practiced medicine since 1996.
She completed medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine
and interned at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Anderson completed her
residency at Tyler UT Health Center.
She is an experienced ER physician and handles minor emergencies including
laceration repair and other minor office procedures. She is Family Practice
Board Certified. She is affiliated with Hunt Regional Medical Center
at Greenville. She cares for the whole family and treats acute illness
as well as chronic medical problems.
This includes well woman care, well baby (including newborns), well
children and adolescents, sick visits, annual physical exams, sports
and school physicals, pre-employment physicals, most common chronic illnesses,
and minor emergencies.
Dr Anderson speaks Spanish so you can be sure your health needs are
met.
She is married and enjoys traveling the world with her husband. During
her leisure time she also enjoys cooking and home decorating (when she
isn't watching sports).
“My mom was a nurse," says Dr. Anderson. "I was an active
child and broke a couple of bones. I was so fascinated with the medical
procedures and the doctors treating me, that I wanted to be a physician
myself."
